THE ENGINE AND ITS PRINCIPLES!

what is an internal  combustion engine? and  what are its principles?

It is a type of machine that  obtains mechanical energy directly from the chemical energy of a fuel that burns within the combustion chamber.

Classification of the engines according to the cycle
Two-stroke (2T): perform a useful career of work at every turn.

2t

Four-stroke (4T): perform a useful career of work every two turns.

4T

There are the diesel and gasoline, both 2T and 4 T.

ELEMENTS:
The Otto and the diesel engines have the same main elements: (block, crankshaft, connecting rod, piston, cylinder head, valves) and other specific of each, as high pressure in the diesel injection pump, or formerly in the Otto carburetor.

all these elements play a role specifies.

ENGINE COMPONENTS

THE DISTRITUBION SYSTEM:

the distribution system is the set of parts that regulate the entry and exit of gases in cylinder. This system must be in perfect sync with the crankshaft, so that the openings and closings of the valves occur pursuant to the successive positions of the piston within the cylinder and the appropriate times.

ELEMENTS :

The distribution is formed by the components:
• Valves with its springs, seats, guides and fixing elements.
• The camshaft and control elements.
• Tappets and rocker arms.

THE LUBRICATION SYSTEM
the funtion of the lubrication system is prevent wear of the engine parts, creating a layer of lubricant between the parts, which are always touching.

THE ELEMENTS OF TRE LUBRICATION SYSTEM ARE:

  • suction hood
  • oil pump
  • internal ducts engine
  • carter
  • oil filter
  • oil level sensor
  • oil cooler
  • canshaft
